Late arrival…
Here’s the other clip I promised (3rd workout of last week). Finally got it edited…
It features my brother-in-law, Kim and my nephew Rainer, who is six years old. He desperately wanted to come along to see how strong his daddy and uncle are…
All wonderfulness of the 60sec system aside, it really makes for extremely boring watching. So, not surprisingly, Rainer wasn’t all that impressed. But: he was able to lift the 8kg dumbell clear off the floor!! Not bad for a six-year-old.
Anyway, here’s the clip…

I take it there’s no microphone on your camera for formal introductions?
Was Kim sampling the 60 sec routine?

You are correct in assuming there’s no mic on my camera… I think that’s the only drawback, really. That and the fact I don’t get DVD-quality image on my clips…
Kim was not testing the routine, bacause he hasn’t been lifting for a while and thought it’d be better (=not so painful the day after) to lift easy.

If you want better image quality, the camera probably just wants more light in the room. Kills the dungeon feel though
What sort of camera is it?

It’s a KonicaMinolta Dimage Z20.
Besides, there’s already a 150W halogen lamp there for extra light…
It’s real nice; 5M pixels, 8 X optical zoom and stuff. But a mic or in-house editing it has not.
I think I’ll stick to the dungeon feel, though…

I’ve had a couple of Minolta DiMAGEs, and they were both great (until they died). You can add some cheesey backing music to your clips perhaps?

A wonderful idea!
Wait-I got it! The Miami Vice theme song! No wait, even better: Abba. Definitely has to be Abba.
